Job summary

Health First in Melbourne, FL seeks a Physician Assistant with surgical experience to support surgeons in the Operating Room across the system. This float role offers exposure to diverse procedures and emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and strong communication.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PA degree (MS preferred), an active PA license, NCCPA certification, and at least one year of clinical experience. English proficiency is required and Per Diem scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Masters of Science preferred.
• Current PA license.
• Certification by NCCPA.
• One year of related clinical experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a wide range of surgical procedures
• Managing a range of elective and emergent cases
• Serve as a surgical resource across the 4 Hospitals
