Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• Certified First Surgical Assistant required prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, expert surgical assistance across high-acuity case mix.
• Position patients and maintain sterile field and safety during procedures.
• Enhance visualization and manage hemostasis and tissue handling.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure instrumentation and supplies are ready.
• Maintain perioperative workflow and assist with room turnover and waste disposal.
• Support on-call rotations for rapid-response trauma cases.
