Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support the operating room team, working with surgeons to provide direct patient care during procedures. The RNFA collaborates with the surgical team, reviews preoperative assessments, assists intraoperatively, and adapts care plans based on patient responses.

This role requires at least a nursing diploma or associate degree, 2–5 years of nursing experience, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Minimum 2–5 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing, CNOR, and Certified First Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intraoperative patient care as a team member, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Administer medications per nursing standards and develop perioperative care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and integrate research and ethical practices into patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and educate patients and families throughout the perioperative process.
