Job summary

Boehringer Laboratories, LLC is seeking a Surgical Products Area Sales Manager to cover Missouri, Arkansas, western Tennessee, and northern Mississippi. You will report to the Regional Sales Director and collaborate with other Area Sales Managers and Clinical Account Managers.

You will forecast sales, develop strategies, educate surgeons and OR staff, and secure new accounts through on-site meetings or calls. This role requires hospital credentialing and 3–5 years in medical device sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
• Medical Device sales experience with hospital credentialing capability required.
• 3–5 years in Medical Device sales; surgical products preferred.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and meet/exceed sales quotas and growth objectives.
• Analyze local market, develop and execute sales plans.
• Identify growth opportunities within the customer base.
• Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts and develop clinical relationships.
• Forecast revenues and unit volumes for 30–90 day windows.
• Conduct product presentations and on-site trainings for OR teams.
• Record CRM data and maintain accurate customer records.
• Cover Operating Room cases and manage evaluations.
• Submit weekly activity reports on quotes, orders, and issues.
