Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Day Care unit. You will deliver nursing care, assess patients, plan and implement care, and monitor responses to medications.

Requirements include MA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ICU/CVICU/ER or PACU experience. On-call duties apply; the department emphasizes safety, documentation and teamwork within hospital policies.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts; BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.
• Experience in ICU/CVICU/ER or SDC/PACU preferred; on-call is required.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications.
• Directs and guides patient care, teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Maintains and delivers high quality customer service standards.
• Keeps current patient records; documents assessments and plans of care.
• Demonstrates proficiency as charge nurse and participates in committees.
• On-call duties during nights, weekends and holidays; works rotating shifts.
