Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with financial counseling is preferred.
• Experience working with insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery and pre-surgery education for patients.
• Coordinate pre-op appointments with patients/caregivers.
• Review insurance benefits, prepare cost summaries, and discuss finances with patients.
• Counsel patients on Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center fees.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Other duties as assigned by the clinic.
