Aquent is partnering with a renowned healthcare institution to fill a critical administrative coordinator role focused on surgical scheduling and patient flow. You will coordinate and schedule complex procedures, manage appointments, and serve as a primary contact to gather screening information.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in an admin role, healthcare experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently to support clinical teams

Qualifications

  • Effectively take, relay, and manage messages, ensuring clear and timely communication across teams.
  • Provide routine information to patients and staff, demonstrating exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Demonstrated strong background in surgical scheduling or coordination.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an administrative role, with a preference for experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with hospital administration processes and healthcare regulations.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and patients.
  • Medical Clearance (OHS Requirements): Must provide proof of TB testing, MMR, Varicella (Chicken Pox), and seasonal Flu vaccination (when in season).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in a Related Field of Study.
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting senior-level staff.
