Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care teams. You will greet patients, document chief complaints, vital signs and medication histories, and assist clinicians with examinations and procedures.

The role involves symptom assessment, specimen collection, immunizations, and care coordination within a collaborative environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program or MA Certification preferred.
• Certification required upon hire if not graduating from an accredited MA program.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms and records data in EHR.
• Obtain chief complaint, history, medications, allergies, and smoking history; record vital signs.
• Assist provider with visits, prepare supplies, explain tests and procedures.
• Administer immunizations and injections as ordered.
• Perform phlebotomy backup, collect specimens and label for transport.
• Support patient care coordination and documentation, including billing checks and registry data.
