Job summary

Qualifications

• Manual charge entry and coding of charges.
• Low complexity coding-related charge review edits.
• Documentation in the electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and resolves service queues to ensure accurate charge capture.
• Performs charge reconciliation and follows up on missing charges.
• Deciphers charge error reasons and plans follow-up steps.
• Documents clear notes in the EHR for claim history.
• Verifies information such as ABN/FRF numbers and authorization data.
• Adheres to department policies and performs other duties as assigned.
