Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; equivalent 10 years of work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and resolves all services in assigned charge review, claim edit, and denial/follow-up work queues to ensure timely and accurate charge capture or insurance follow-up.
• Conducts charge reconciliation by reviewing reports detailing billable activity and following up to ensure charges are submitted and cleared.
• Documents clear and concise notes within the electronic health record to facilitate comprehensive claim history.
• Follows department policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned.
