Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners and Banner Surgery Center – Chandler are seeking a Customer Liaison and Scheduler to coordinate elective procedures between physician offices and the surgery center. You will manage scheduling in a computerized system and ensure accurate patient data.

Based at the Chandler campus, you will support staff, obtain authorizations, and maintain confidentiality while delivering high-quality service and timely information to physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Effective teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and ability to use scheduling systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate statistical records and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case times for elective procedures in a scheduling system.
• Verify physician privilege status prior to scheduling and maintain logs.
• Acquire authorizations numbers and necessary medical records.
• Enter orders for labs, imaging, and patient charges; print and manage reports.
• Collaborate with CEO/BD to optimize schedule and growth opportunities.
• Act as patient liaison, greet visitors, and relay information to staff.
