Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintain the facility inventory management plan to support safe patient care.
• Receive and distribute supplies, floor stock, office and stock supplies and rental equipment.
• Ensure adequate levels of inventory and remove excess stock.
• Follow regulatory requirements and accreditation guidelines to support safety and security procedures.
• Perform periodic physical inventories as assigned and according to schedules.
• Keeps carts and shelves organized and within standards.
• Monitors, tracks, and returns outdated supplies to prevent issuance.
• Ensures receipts have purchase order numbers and are authorized.
• Checks incoming shipments for damage.
• Follows major vendor contracts and policies.
• Provides economical and conservative management of facility property.
• Removes soiled linen and biohazardous waste timely according to contracts.
• Pulls and stocks supplies for main areas and facility departments.
• Distributes Special Order Items throughout the facility.
• Maintains accurate records and reporting for the department.
• Keeps departments informed of shortages, back-orders, and supply issues.
• Communicates with vendors, sales reps, and accounts as liaison for clinical teammates.
• Meets deadlines for ordering, receipt, delivery, and storage of supplies.
• Checks and distributes orders promptly and accurately.
• Monitors and troubleshoots operating equipment with our BIOMED partner.
