Job summary

USPI Golden Ridge Surgery Center seeks a Materials Manager to oversee inventory, ordering, receiving and staging of medical supplies in a busy OR setting.

Weekdays only with possible early mornings or later evenings; no holidays, weekends or on-call. The role supports the surgical team, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with state standards and facility policies. Requires ERP/PC skills and prior OR materials management experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; CST or six months experience.
• Current CPR.
• Demonstrated necessary clinical competency.
• Computer skills.
• Experience in materials management in an OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory; orders supplies.
• Performs quarterly inventory accounting.
• Receives, checks in, and delivers supplies; handles back orders.
• Maintains adherence to center policies; fiscal responsibility.
• Supports peri-operative nursing care and communicates with team.
• Handles hazardous materials inventory and OSHA standards.
• Coordinates with Nurse Manager and Administrator.
• Assist in the OR as needed.
• Submit invoices to BOM; month-end accruals.
