Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Care Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. The role is full time with a 36-hour workweek and night shifts 7:00pm–7:30am, including rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, an active Illinois RN license, and CPR certification, plus 1+ year of inpatient RN

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
• Associate Degree in Nursing; if ADN, must graduate with a BSN within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
