Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Fluent English (speaks, reads, writes).
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, web browser, email).
• Demonstrates competency in aseptic technique during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in efficient room turnover per AORN guidelines and Infection Control Policy.
• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Prepares and positions patients and equipment for procedures.
• Assists with cleaning, sterilization, and handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Provides patient care support as needed and responds to patient needs promptly.
