Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with patients and colleagues
• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
• Be accountable for performance and continuous improvement of patient experience
• Initiate patients into the surgery pipeline and schedule initial consultations
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate preoperative clearances
• Schedule across multiple facilities and portals and manage practice management communications
• Educate patients on procedures and prep information, and provide estimates
• Maintain EMR documentation and readiness for surgeries
• Assist leadership and staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support the surgery program
