Job summary

US Eye, a physician-led network of eye care practices, seeks a Surgical Counselor in Bluffton, SC. This full-time role coordinates all aspects of cataract and refractive surgery, educates patients on premium lenses, and liaises with the financial team for insurance authorizations and patient payments.

You will schedule ASC surgeries, obtain necessary clearances, and ensure patients understand before, during, and after surgery. Travel to Hilton Head and Lady's Island is required.

Qualifications

• Provides concierge level customer service to surgical patients.
• Educates patients on procedures, lens options, and pricing aligned with physician recommendations.
• Coordinates with financial team to obtain insurance authorizations and collect patient responsibilities.

Responsibilities
