Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school
• 5+ years of small animal general practice experience
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in West Virginia
• Experience performing soft-tissue surgery
• Strong dentistry and dental extractions experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to dogs and cats
• Perform soft-tissue surgical procedures
• Perform routine and advanced dental procedures including extractions
• Evaluate surgical candidates and build pre- and post-operative plans
• Utilize radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab diagnostics
• Communicate treatment options and risks clearly with clients
• Mentor team in surgical knowledge and techniques
