Fairmont Veterinary Hospital in Fairmont, WV is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our caring, full-service small animal team. You’ll provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, perform wellness visits, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in West Virginia.
• Veterinarians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in companion animal medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a veterinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats.
• Perform wellness and preventive care examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly with clients.
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures based on your experience and interests.
• Utilize in-house diagnostics, including laboratory testing, digital radiography, and ultrasound.
• Participate in case collaboration and consultation with other veterinarians.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets.
