Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school.
• 5+ years of small animal general practice experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in West Virginia.
• Demonstrated experience performing soft-tissue surgery.
• Strong experience with companion animal dentistry and dental extractions.
• Ability to independently evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and manage surgical cases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to dogs and cats.
• Perform a variety of soft-tissue surgical procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced dental procedures, including extractions.
• Evaluate surgical candidates and develop pre- and post-operative plans.
• Utilize digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house labs to support care.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions.
• Communicate surgical recommendations and follow-up care clearly with clients.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians on complex cases and planning.
• Mentor and share surgical knowledge with team members.
• Build strong relationships with clients and patients.
