Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Surgical Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS within 30 days; CSA or CST or Licensed Surgical Assistant.
• Experience: 2+ years operating room scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment and asepsis; perform select technical and psychomotor tasks.
• Organize and coordinate supplies and equipment for efficiency and cost control.
• Provide intraoperative assistance as first assistant and support nursing staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Know anatomy/physiology relevant to procedures; scrub as needed.
• Assist in room turnover and equipment charging.
