Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will prepare the sterile field, assist with gowning and draping, and ensure supplies and equipment are readily available for each case.

Requires an accredited Surgical Technology program, 3 years of experience, BLS, CST/CSFA/CSA certifications within 12 months, and the ability to work 36 hours weekly including weekend shifts. Competitive benefits and on-site scheduling are provided.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• 3 years of experience in a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Assistant role.
• Proficient in aseptic technique and sterile processing.
• Able to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain sterile field.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares the surgical field and assists team in case setup.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are ready before incision.
• Maintains sterile field and assists with draping and instrument handling.
• Monitors room safety and cleans/disinfects after procedures.
• Supports training of Surgical Technologists and assistants.
• May perform supervised validated tasks under surgeon direction.
• Complies with patient age-related care standards.
