Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room, prepare sterile fields, and pass instruments to Surgeons during procedures.

You will set up rooms, maintain aseptic technique, transport equipment and patients, and ensure safety. No prior experience required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program and BLS within 6 months are expected.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques used in preparation of materials, supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of various operating room equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Set up operating rooms and maintain sterile field.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and/or supplies.
• Prepare materials, supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
• Notify staff of equipment and supply problems.
