Responsibilities

• Participates in preparatory steps of surgery; assists in gathering supplies and positioning patient.
• Ensures required supplies are available for procedures prior to incision.
• Maintains clean, safe operating room and assists in training Surgical Technologists and new Surgical Assistants.
• May perform validated competencies under direct supervision of the surgeon.
