Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in preparatory steps of surgery; gathers supplies and positions patient.
• Anticipates Surgeon needs; ensures supplies available before incision.
• Maintains sterile environment; handles gowns, gloves, drapes and instruments.
• Sets up and cleans OR equipment; handles equipment maintenance notifications.
• Trains Surgical Technologists and new Surgical Assistants; participates in teams and projects.
