This position is office-based in MA with a training period onsite and potential remote/office flexibility after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a medical/healthcare setting.
• EPIC experience preferred or required if possible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical bookings and hospital admissions across clinicians and departments.
• Schedule hospital admissions and operating room time; handle rescheduling as needed.
• Inform patients about pre/post-operative appointments and testing; maintain clear communication.
• Process pre-authorization for admission and understand payer policies.
• Maintain electronic records and provide backup coverage as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all communications.
