Job Summary:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join their premier practice and expanding service line.
Qualified Candidates:
- Work with an experienced team of 15 providers, including 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 12 APPs.
- The practice currently performs coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, and broad-based thoracic surgeries. Several advanced programs, including TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices, are expected to begin in the coming year.
- The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort with:
- Aortic disease, valve repair and replacement, including open and endovascular procedures
- TAVR and ventricular assist devices
- Minimally invasive lung surgery
- Advanced technologies to reduce procedure invasiveness
- The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the team.
- Our interdisciplinary team includes cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical, RN, and critical care staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- While experienced surgeons are preferred, new graduates will also be considered.
