Job description

Seeking BE/BC cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with an experienced team including another cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 APPs experienced in endo vein harvesting.
  2. Provide care in CVICU, operate in two heart surgery rooms, utilize strong perfusion techniques, and collaborate with a dedicated hybrid-OR, as well as EP and Cath services.
  3. Participate in a practice that performs coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, and broad-based thoracic surgery, including advanced programs like TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, and ECMO.
  4. Demonstrate experience and comfort with aortic disease, valve repair and replacement (including open and endovascular procedures), TAVR, and minimally invasive lung surgery.
  5. Utilize advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures.
  6. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and critical care staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Board-certified/eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Experience with aortic disease, valve procedures, TAVR, and minimally invasive lung surgery.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a growing program.
