Job Responsibilities:

• Provide thoracic surgical care every other weekend, starting on Friday at 12 PM and concluding Monday at 7 AM.
• Manage periodic coverage for vacation time throughout the year.
• Respond to beeper call requests in a timely manner, with a required call response time of 30 minutes.
• Conduct rounding for assigned patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in thoracic surgery is required.
• Completion of a fellowship in thoracic surgery.
• Active physician license preferred.
• Experience in inpatient surgical settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
