This North Florida Health System seeks an exceptionally well-trained Cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line.
Qualified Candidates:
- Work with an experienced team of providers, including another cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 APPs experienced in endo vein harvesting.
- Facilities include CVICU, two heart surgery rooms, strong perfusion, a dedicated hybrid-OR, and dedicated EP and Cath services.
- Practice currently performs coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, as well as broad-based thoracic surgery. Several advanced programs include TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, and ECMO.
- The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Experience and comfort with aortic disease, valve repair and replacement, including open and endovascular procedures.
- Experience with TAVR.
- Minimally invasive lung surgery skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with technologies that reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures.
- The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within our growing team, which includes cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, RNs, and Critical Care staff, to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Experience is required.
