Job summary

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join Tulsa's only 5-star rated hospital. The role supports the surgeon in the operative suite, maintains a sterile field, and ensures efficient instrument handling for safe, high-quality patient care.

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program required; NBSTA certification and current BLS are required upon hire. A competitive benefits package and 401(k) are included with this position.

OSH, a physician-owned facility, is looking for a full-time Certified Surgical Tech to work Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 5:00p with a rotating day off, i.e. Tuesday off this week, Wednesday off the following week, Thursday off the next week, etc. Every four weeks you will get a 4-day weekend due to having Friday and Monday off on the rotation. There is some call required which is typically 2-3 days a month, with 1 weekend call every 6-8 weeks or so. This position comes with full-time benefits! Job Mission:

The Certified and Non-Certified Surgery Tech, hold safety sensitive positions, and provide aid in functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.

Occupational Experience:

Previous surgical tech experience preferred but not required.

Requires:

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Certified Surgical Techs require certification through NBSTA upon hire. Current BLS certification required upon hire.

Specialty Knowledge Skills:

Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current Surgical and Sterile procedures that are unit/age specific.
