Job summary

Semmes Murphey Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee seeks a supervisor for the surgery scheduling and precertification team to ensure efficient workflows and strong quality control across the clinic, ambulatory surgery center, radiology and call center.

You will partner with physicians and staff, resolve escalated patient complaints, and drive process improvements to maintain accuracy and timeliness in scheduling and precertification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years experience in a medical practice/hospital.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management/Administration or related field.
• Prior Supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality control and improvement for workflows within the surgery scheduling and precertification process.
• Serve as a key partner and resource for clinic, ambulatory surgery center, radiology, and call center.
• Address and resolve escalated patient complaints.
