Semmes Murphey Clinic's Ambulatory Surgery Center in Memphis, TN is hiring a Nurse Manager to lead clinical and operational excellence. You will oversee staffing, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and staff development while serving as the primary resource for physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff and ancillary personnel.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with five years of nursing experience and at least two years in supervision, TN RN license, and BLS.

Five (5) years’ nursing experience
Two (2) years’ supervisory experience
Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
BLS certification

Responsibilities

Ensure appropriate staffing levels for daily procedural volume and operational needs
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation schedules for new employees
Address employee relations concerns, participate in disciplinary processes, provide coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance to staff members
Serve as the primary clinical and operational resource for physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and ancillary personnel
Lead staff meetings and safety huddles on a regular basis, communicate organizational changes or expectations to staff
Provide clinical guidance for complex patient cases and ensure appropriate escalation and resolution of patient care concerns
Monitor equipment, supply inventory, and resource utilization
Maintain readiness for regulatory, accreditation, and licensing surveys, participate in audits and compliance reviews
Address deficiencies identified through audits, surveys, environmental rounds and quality reviews
Foster positive physician and clinic relationships and support efficient access to surgical services
