Qualifications

  • Healthcare scheduling experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Answers all incoming calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedules outpatient appointments, testing, surgeries, and hospital admissions.
  • Obtains necessary pre-certifications and communicates messages accurately and timely.
  • Coordinates referrals and patient documentation in the EMR system.
  • Collects co-pays and covers other financial aspects at visit time.
  • Maintains scheduling templates and supports office efficiency.
