Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling required.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling of all surgeries to optimize use of surgery suites and staff.
• Maintain a paper 7-day surgery schedule to guard against computer downtime.
• Notify necessary parties when changes occur and distribute schedules daily.
• Communicate with physicians and office staff to ensure proper documentation and coordination.
• Use EMR data to compile department reports and QA statistics.
• Assist in addressing patient concerns and support a teamwork-oriented environment.
