Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling is required.
• Proficient in using a surgery scheduling system and EMR.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate scheduling of all surgeries to optimize OR and staff utilization.
• Maintain a paper 7-day surgery schedule to guard against downtime.
• Notify parties when changes occur and distribute schedules daily.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure proper documentation.
• Compile QA statistics and daily reports from the EMR.
• Verify physician orders and attach to patient records.
• Work with nursing and ancillary departments to maintain teamwork.
• Report patient safety issues using occurrence reporting systems.
• Address patient concerns and uphold Code of Conduct and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
