Job summary

Minnesota Urology, PA seeks a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical appointments and keep calendars accurate, ensuring smooth patient experiences. You will document in the EHR and support pre-certifications and referrals.

Work onsite in our Coon Rapids clinic with Monday–Friday daytime hours, focusing on scheduling accuracy, patient communication, and collaboration with physicians and facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of surgery scheduling experience
• Medical terminology knowledge; some insurance background
• Preferred: EHR experience and Microsoft Office Suite familiarity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgery dates/locations, share prep and arrival guidance, and confirm insurance requirements
• Maintain accurate physician surgery calendars and document updates in the system
• Help ensure pre-certifications, prior authorizations, and referrals are in place
