Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as a surgery scheduler.
• Epic experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong computer skills and telephone etiquette.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient financial accounts and benefits assessment.
• Verify insurance, pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and revise/cancel appointments as needed.
