Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology is seeking a Clinic Scheduler/Insurance Specialist to manage patient financial accounts, verify benefits, and coordinate all surgery scheduling. The role requires accuracy, communication, and liaison across departments within Mercy.

Location is St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with standard clinic hours and a focus on efficient patient flow and scheduling integrity.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year as a surgery scheduler; Epic experience required.
• Other Skills and Knowledge: Medical terminology. Computer skills. Telephone etiquette. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule all surgical appointments and revise/cancel as necessary.
• Verify patient benefits, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorization, and referrals management.
• Act as interdepartmental liaison and maintain familiarity with scheduling functions.

This individual also coordinates all aspects of surgery scheduling. Schedules all appointments for patients requiring surgery and revises/cancels appointments as necessary. Acts as an interdepartmental liaison and maintains familiarity with scheduling functions. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Location: 10012 Kennerly Road, Suite 102, St. Louis, MO 63128

Schedule: Full Time | 40 Hours/Week | Mon-Fri | 7:30am -4pm or 8am -4:30pm
