Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a full-time Home Health Office Coordinator to collect patient data, verify payer coverage, obtain physician orders, and coordinate referrals for timely home health services.

You will supervise clerical staff, support billing activities with the central office, and ensure accurate records while scheduling and coordinating patient care in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• 1+ experience [Preferred].

Responsibilities

• Collects patient clinical and demographic data and insurance information, verifies payer coverage and obtains physician orders.
• Arranges for support services and ensures written orders for homecare are obtained or RN orders when needed.
• Oversees clerical staff to ensure accurate data entry, phone answering, and management of clinical records.
• Coordinates referrals to maintain efficient operations and liaises with the central billing office to troubleshoot billing issues.
