Minnesota Urology is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical appointments and keep plans accurate and well documented for patients, physicians, and partner facilities.

You will manage surgery dates, share prep guidance, confirm insurance requirements, and maintain calendars, logging details in NextGen/UroChart to help ensure pre-certifications and referrals are in place for a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of surgery scheduling experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge; some insurance background.
• Preferred: EHR experience and Microsoft Office Suite familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgery dates and locations.
• Share prep and arrival guidance with patients.
• Confirm insurance requirements for surgeries.
• Maintain accurate physician surgery calendars.
• Document in NextGen/UroChart.
• Assist with pre-certifications, prior authorizations, and referrals.
