Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Home Health Administrative Coordinator to collect patient clinical and demographic data, verify payer coverage, and obtain physician orders to support home health services. You will supervise clerical staff, coordinate referrals and scheduling, ensure accurate data entry and timely billing, and act as a liaison between clinicians and billing teams.

A high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience are preferred for this full-time day shift role in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient clinical and demographic data and verifies payer information.
• Arranges for home care support services and ensures written orders or RN verification when needed.
• Oversees secretarial staff to assure accurate data entry and proper records management.
• Ensures appropriate staff coverage within the agency and coordinates referrals for efficient operations.
• Enters referrals into the computer, verifies information prior to admission, and maintains reference files.
• Performs payer verification processes, including Medicare eligibility checks.
• Liaises with clinicians and billing to ensure timely scheduling and billing.
