Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Surgery Coordinator in Omaha to manage timely delivery of materials for surgery. You will coordinate requisitions, verify orders, and ensure accurate fulfillment to support surgical schedules.

The role requires 2 years in supply chain or logistics, a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional on-call and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales Support, Inventory Management, or related field.
• Must have valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work some holidays and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgery requisitions timely and accurately.
• Fulfill surgery requests within time constraints.
• Use ERP/MRP software to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Supply Chain and Operations to fulfill orders on-time.
• Assist on-site warehouse personnel in manual fulfillment of orders.
• Maintain inventory status with real-time updates to Operations leadership and Sales team.
• Return inventory in a timely manner.
• Box, pack, label, and ship instruments; use shipping programs as needed.
• Deliver/retrieve inventory including restock and emergency runs to facilities.
• Develop product knowledge through training and interaction with sales, marketing, and med ed.
