Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Surgery Coordinator for our distribution center to ensure timely delivery of instruments and implants. You will manage warehouse picking, organize and optimize processes, and coordinate safe transport of inventory to medical facilities.

You will monitor inventory using SMS, DCS, and FedEx, perform quality checks, and contribute to Lean initiatives. The role requires on-call duties and some holiday work, with collaboration across sales and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering or other technical field preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

What You Can Expect

The Surgery Coordinator role is distribution center based and is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of instruments and implants needed for surgery. Responsibilities include warehouse picking, organizing, and optimization and the safe and timely transportation of inventory between warehouse and medical facilities and/or locations specified.

How You\'ll Create Impact

• Daily use of inventory management systems including SMS, DCS, FedEx programs to monitor/act on the case schedule, source, pick, box, label, loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory.
• Performs quality checks on outgoing product to ensure customers receive 100% quality product and performs incoming quality checks on all inventory.
• Safe/accurate delivery/retrieval of inventory including restock and emergency runs to the appropriate facility
