Job Opportunity: Physician in Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery

The schedule includes call coverage from June 27th, 2025, 8 AM through July 7th, 2025, 8 AM, coinciding with the primary CT surgeon's vacation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide call coverage for Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Respond to patient inquiries and manage consults via beeper
• Conduct patient rounds, with an average of 2 patients seen per shift
• Ensure a quick response time of 30 minutes for call duties
• Perform admissions related to thoracic surgery cases
• Utilize the MediTech EMR system for patient documentation
• Maintain a high standard of patient care throughout the call period

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active medical license (or eligibility for temporary privileges)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
