We are hiring a Locum - Physician - Surgery - General for an assignment in Kentucky!

Job details:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Practice Setting: Hospital based coverage only
• Schedule: 24 hour shifts for call coverage (7am - 7am)
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-3 surgical cases for surgeon on call and 2-4 consults per day
• Patient Age Demographic: Peds to Geriatrics
• EMR – EPIC

Required Procedures:

• General Surgical Cases ADULT
• General Surgical Cases TRAUMA (minimal)
• Central Line Insertion
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Vascular Access Devices
• Cholecystectomy
• Hernioplasty
• Colon/Small Bowel

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified (ABoS) -REQUIRED
• Active KY license -REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccinated -Preferred
