Northern New Hampshire General Surgeon Job

Clinical Role:

1. Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible general surgeon.
2. Permanent, full-time position (4 or 4.5 days a week).
3. Work schedule includes office days on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and a half-day or off on Fridays, with Tuesdays dedicated to the OR.
4. Appointment durations: 15 minutes for established patients, 30 minutes for new patients, and 30-45 minutes for office-based procedures.
5. Typical productivity: 12 to 18 patients daily, including 2 to 4 new patients.
6. Collaborate with a part-time surgeon and per diem team.
7. Prior experience (2-5 years) in broad-spectrum general surgery and endoscopy preferred.
8. Experience in a small hospital or CAH desirable.
9. Comfortable with rural practice, solo call coverage, and working with regional specialists and diagnostic services.
10. Clinical interests that expand or complement current services are welcomed.
11. Must be willing to practice the broad scope typical of rural community surgeons.
12. Team-oriented, collaborative, patient-focused, with high customer service standards and respectful communication.
13. H1-B and J-1 visa candidates will be considered.

Organization Benefits:

• Vacation: 5 weeks/year, Sick days: 5, Holidays: 6.
• CME: 2 weeks/year plus $4,500 funds.
• Base salary: $419,993 for 0.89 FTE (includes 10 days call), plus wRVU bonuses and a Good Citizenship bonus up to $15,000/year.
