Job description

Seeking a skilled and enthusiastic BC/BE Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our team of six Retina Physicians just northwest of Boston.

Highlights/Details:

  • Join a collegial and supportive retina team of six doctors (five surgeons, one medical retina physician, and a uveitis specialist)
  • Provide outstanding care to local, national, and international patients
  • Teach fellows (two per year in our AUPO-compliant fellowship) and residents
  • Opportunity for academic appointments
  • See patients at two main clinics and surrounding private practices
  • Perform surgeries in our state-of-the-art ambulatory operating room
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Commitment to global health (past outreach in Turkey, Egypt, and Tanzania)
  • Interest in uveitis is a plus, but not required


About the Ophthalmology Department:

  • Dynamic and busy service with 16 ophthalmologists and 8 optometrists.
  • Participation in the Tufts/New England Eye Center Ophthalmology Residency program.
