Scenic New Hampshire - GENERAL SURGEON sought for interesting practice with award-winning hospital in mountainside town - $420K salary

Overview

Berlin, New Hampshire: We seek a skilled GENERAL SURGEON for a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in picturesque New Hampshire. Located near the White Mountain National Forest, this town offers a rural, community-oriented practice serving patients of all ages.

Practice Details

• Join a part-time general surgeon and per diem team in a typical rural office-based setting.
• Case mix includes Hernias, GERD, Rectal bleeding, Gallbladder disease, Colon polyps/cancer screening, Hemorrhoids, Sebaceous cyst, Dysphagia, Breast conditions, Diverticulitis, Skin lesions, etc.
• Procedures include open, laparoscopic, and endoscopic surgeries (no gastroenterologists on site).
• Support staff includes onsite Imaging, Lab, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
• Clinical interests/expertise are welcome to expand community services.

Work Schedule & Teaching

Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with a 4 to 4.5-day workweek. Typical volume: 12-18 patients/day. Teaching opportunities available for medical and PA students.

Technology & Compensation

The hospital uses advanced technology, including an EMR system with voice recognition/templates. Compensation includes a salary of $420K, productivity bonuses, a cash starting bonus, and an annual quality/citizenship bonus.
