Qualifications

• Required - High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred - Associates Degree
• Scheduling 1-3 years

Responsibilities

• Effectively schedules surgical cases in the Surgical Block Schedule.
• Publishes the OR schedule daily and documents data related to surgical cases.
• Coordinates and assists physicians, office staff, patients, and hospital departments with scheduling of surgical procedures.
• Enters Nursing Data, OR patient charges, and surgical patient billing into the surgical database system.
• Collects and compiles data for administrative and monthly reporting.
• Maintains physician preference cards.
